Election of the New City of Pittsburgh Democratic City Committee
On June 27, 2026, the Ward Leaders of the City of Pittsburgh Democratic Committee elected a new leadership team to guide the organization into its next chapter. We are honored and grateful for the confidence placed in our administration and thank every Ward Leader and Committee Member for their support throughout this process. Elected to serve were Daylon A. Davis, Chair; Theresa Nightingale, Vice-Chair; and Ryan Herbinko, Secretary. This election represents more than a change in leadership; it reflects a shared commitment to strengthening our Democratic Party through collaboration, transparency, and meaningful investment in our neighborhoods. While the campaign has concluded, the real work now begins. Our administration is committed to organizing year-round, supporting and empowering ward leaders and committee members, increasing voter engagement, expanding community outreach, and building the infrastructure necessary to turn out the vote in every election. Together, we will work to create a stronger, more unified Democratic organization that serves every ward, every neighborhood, and every Democrat throughout the City of Pittsburgh. We are excited to begin this work alongside our committee members and community partners as we move our organization and our city forward.
